Raffle baskets were plentiful as local residents looked around Sept. 19 during the Empty Bowls, Caring Hearts fundraiser at Shawano Community High School. The event helps Shawano Area Matthew 25 to operate its emergency shelter, which opens again in October, and health clinic, which operates year-round.
