Wabeno American Legion Post has announced its annual Memorial Day ceremony will take place May 25 at Veterans Park, located off state Highway 32 in Wabeno.
The commemoration begins at 10 a.m. with a welcome by Legion Commander George Richardson. It includes the traditional Missing In Action ceremony to honor those who went to war and did not return. The keynote address will be delivered by Mike Schilz. The Wabeno High School Choir will provide patriotic music.
Attendees are invited to a social and light luncheon at the legion post following the event.
