Teresa A. Brown, 97, Stiles, died early Monday morning, Sept. 7, 2026, at Rennes West Nursing Home.
She was born March 10, 1929, to the late Bert and Angeline Dumas in Schaffer, Michigan. She graduated from Lena High School in 1946.
In 1946, she married Allen G. Brown at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lena, and they lived most of their married life in the Stiles area. She worked many years at Frigo Cheese in Lena in accounts payable. After retirement, they enjoyed many winters in Florida. She was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Stiles and volunteered at their Rummage Hall. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, puzzles, playing cards and gardening.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Linda Zaidel, Stiles; four grandchildren, Michelle (Jeff) Ziesmer, Oconto, Renee Wirtz, Morgan, Paul (Kathy) Zaidel, Abrams, and Lisa (Doug) Zaidel, Stiles; six great-grandchildren, Alex (Valerie) Ziesmer, Beaver Dam, Derek (Kyrie) Ziesmer, Belvidere, Illinois, Stephanie (Jonah) Meyer, Pensaukee, Brittany (Jacob) Ellman, Morgan, Tyler Zaidel and Analeigh Zaidel, Abrams; nine great-great-grandchildren, Timothy, Abigail, Ellis, Roselyn, Jonathan, Charli, Ryker, Addalyn and Colton; one brother, Donald (Sandy) Dumas, Stiles; one sister, Geri Gilles Alsteen, Oconto; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son-in-law, Robert Zaidel; two brothers, Raymond Bernard Dumas and Ronald Dumas; sister, Jeanette Moench; great-great-granddaughter, Elliana Zaidel; and many in-laws.
A private memorial service will be held for family.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Rennes West Nursing Home for their professional care and compassion the past 4½ years.
