Farms are businesses that need to be profitable to survive, and effective and efficient pest management is necessary for profitable crop production. Pests, which farms need to manage each year, include weeds and some insects and diseases.

Keshena Primary School has been awarded a $15,000 grant from TC Energy’s social impact program, Build Strong. The grant will support the school’s social emotional learning (SEL) efforts for Menominee families and students. “We are so excited for the opportunity to bring more resources to the students and families of the Menominee Indian School District,” said Superintendent Wendell Waukau.
