Suring’s girls won the the conference meet on their home track, easily topping the other six schools.
Suring tallied 184.33 points, compared to Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in fifth place with 91 and Gillett in sixth with 77.
On the boys side, Suring was fifth with 80, followed by Lena/STAA in sixth with 61 and Gillett in seventh with 52.
Winning for the Eagles girls were Bunny Cramer in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs; the 4x800-meter relay team of Kyler Kempka, Morgan Suring, Paige Pommerich and Ellayna Skarban; and Aliya Cox in the long jump and triple jump.
Placing first for Lena/STAA were Abby Kostreva, Della Kostreva, Miriam Alberts and Kate Peters in the 4x400 relay, and Eva Brooks in the high jump,
Gillett’s Hope Soper won the 800-meter run, and Audrey Pate won the discus.
For the boys, Bradly Bayer won the discus for Suring. Lena/STAA had Zander Thomson winning the high jump.
Gillett’s Bradyn Wendorff won the 800-, 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs.

CWC Championship Invite
For the first time since 1980, the Bonduel girls track and field team won the conference championship, the win coming at Rosholt.
All-conference honors were awarded to Peyton Westrich in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash; Mariah Wondra in the 1600- and 3200-meter runs; the 4x200-meter relay team of Paige Niquette, Cierra Schnell, Audrey Weier and Audrey Jacobs; the 4x800 team of Teagan Engel, Hailey Berg, Kember Frome and Amelia Wilcox; Weier in the high jump; and Josie Pawlak in the long jump and triple jump.
On the boys side, earning all-conference honors were the 4x100 team of Malachi Grey, Griffin Uelmen, Sam Roberts and Mason Ballwahn; the 4x400 team of Roberts, Gage Scholl, Uelmen and Ballwahn; and Ryan Westrich in the shot put and the discus.
