Stanley Rudzinski, 93 (and 3⁄4), Hofa Park, died peacefully Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at his home on the farm where he was born and lived all his life. The son of Frank and Elizabeth (Bogacz) Rudzinski was born Feb. 26, 1921.
On June 22, 1946, Stanley married Irene Palubicki at St. Stanislaus Church in Hofa Park. The couple farmed and raised their family in the town of Lessor. Stanley served as town of Lessor chairman from 1968-1981. He also worked at the Navarino Feed Mill for 14 years. He liked hunting and fishing, and especially enjoyed the fishing trips to Michigan. He loved Bingo and looked forward to Thursday and Sunday sessions. Stanley loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his five children: Diane (Ken) Holewinski, Hofa Park, Delores “Dee” Wanner, Green Bay, Darlene (Robert) Lee, Black Creek, Dennis “Reggie” (Ellen) Rudzinski, Bonduel, and Donna Mae Rudzinski, at home; one daughter-in-law, Linda (Rudzinski) Buss, Bonduel; 10 grandchildren, Paul (Tracy) Holewinski, Cathy (Eric) Gille, Carrie (Kelly) Brunette and Jason (Deb) Holewinski, Mike (Barb) Lee and Mark Lee (Heather Last), Craig (Kristi) Rudzinski, Sarah (Brett) Dunnick, Ryan (Serena) Rudzinski and Eric Rudzinski; 16 great-grandchildren, Haley, Hunter and Landon Holewinski, Jacob, Cole and Brady Gille, Johanna and Claire Brunette, Brody and Riley Holewinski, Landen and Brycen Rudzinski, Jackson Rudzinski, Jasmine, Zack and Alex Lee; three sisters, Rose Kleist, Bonduel, Esther Marlewski, Milwaukee, Evelyn (Harvey) Pertula, Minnesota; one sister-in-law, Rita Rudzinski, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, in 2012; son, David Rudzinski; infant daughter, Dorothy Rudzinski; grandson, Douglas Holewinski; three brothers, John (Johanna), Frank and Leonard Rudzinski; two sisters, Cecilia (John) Bluma, Lucille (Ray) Ambrosius; two brothers-in- law, Russell Kleist, and Leonard Marlewski.
Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, with the Closing Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Visitation continues after 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Church, Hofa Park. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Bob Konkol, O.F.M., presiding. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
