Sandra L. Rondorf

Sandra L. Rondorf, nee Willkomm, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 68 years. She was born on March 30, 1947, in West Bend to the late LeRoy and Joyce (nee Gahagan) Willkomm. Sandra attended Holy Angels Grade School and later graduated from West Bend High School with the Class of 1965. On April 6, 1968, she was united in marriage to Dennis M. Rondorf at Holy Angels Catholic Church. For many years, she worked as an administrative assistant for various offices, including the City of West Bend Park and Recreation Department and later the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole division. Following her retirement in 2009, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She and Dennis traveled to various places in the United States. The friendships she made in grade school remained throughout her life. Her special group of friends, the “Magnificent Seven,” made it a point to reunite yearly. She later cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandson, Race. Survivors include her husband, Dennis; two children, Gina (Jeff) Stange, of Adell, and Grant, of Michigan; one grandson, Race Stange; one sister, Jane (Michael) Peterson, of Shawano; one brother, Jim Willkomm, of Gresham; nieces and nephews, Rachel (Ryan) Bialk, Samuel Reynolds, Melissa Willkomm, Joseph Willkomm and Brent Finnel; six brothers-in-law, John (Shirley) Rondorf, James (Norma) Rondorf, Charles Rondorf, Larry Rondorf, Duane Syth and Dave Feucht; three sisters-in-law, Marjorie Lloyd, Patricia (Manuel) Alvarado and Joyce Rondorf; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Willkomm; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Richard Rondorf, Phyllis Syth, Janet (Robert) Kreuser, Judy Rondorf, Nancy Feucht and Marge Rondorf. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Brittian presiding. Inurnment will be at a later date in Holy Angels Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends during a period of visitation at the church on Monday from 3:30-5:45 p.m. The family has requested memorials to the American Cancer Society.
