Red Arrow Snowmobile ATV Club of Townsend will hold its 41st annual Fish A Ree from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, at the Townsend Town Hall.
All funds raised will be used to maintain and improve the snowmobile and ATV trails in the Townsend area.
This family fun event will feature music, food, beverages, meat raffles and a fishing contest. Raffle tickets are available at area businesses or from Red Arrow members. Prizes will be awarded at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

A $50 cash prize will be awarded for the largest (by weight) northern, walleye, bass and panfish. In addition, all second- and third-place fish (by weight) will be entered in a drawing for two bonus prizes. All entries will be included in a drawing to win a $50 gas card from Lotter’s Townsend Shell. Fish can be caught at any lake within 20 miles of Townsend and must be freshly caught during the event.
There is a $10 registration fee, plus proof of purchase of a $10 book of Fish A Ree raffle tickets. Per Department of Natural Resources rules, fish may not be returned to the water after being brought to the event.
Fishing contest preregistration will take place Friday, Feb. 5, and until noon Saturday, Feb. 6, at Pintsch’s Hardware/Bait Shop in Townsend and Mighty Fine Live Bait Shop in Lakewood. Registration will be open until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Fish A Ree. Fishing contest rules will be available at registration.
