June 18 Deputies logged 40 incidents, including the following: Noise Disturbance - Authorities investigated a call of loud music coming from a building on Main Street, Suring Intoxication - Authorities assisted with a male who was intoxicated and argumentative on Moody Road in Abrams. Accident - Authorities investigated an accident on state Highway 32 and County Road S in which a female driver from Peshtigo failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by a man from Peshtigo. Disturbance - Authorities assisted a tenant/landlord dispute on Allen Road in Sobieski. Information - Authorities investigated a call from a home owner on Park Avenue in Oconto about a neighbor shooting the caller’s two cats. June 17 Deputies logged 29 incidents, including the following: Littering - Authorities investigated a call regarding two pickup truck loads of garbage found near Kurtz Lane in Suring. Found Property - Authorities investigated a pontoon boat that was found on the flowage in Townsend. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a call about dump trucks speeding on McDonald Street in Oconto. Civil Matter - Authorities investigated a call about an individual dumping gravel on property on Wheeler Lake Lane in Townsend without permission. Traffic Hazard - Authorities respond to a call about debris in the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 41-141 in Little Suamico. June 16 Deputies logged 39 incidents, including the following: Fire - Authorities investigated a call on Peshtigo Brook Road in Suring of a building that may have been struck by lightning and be on fire. Welfare Check - Authorities investigated a call from Bellin Hospital of an individual in Suring threatening suicide. Burglary Attempt - Authorities investigated a call about a break-in attempt on Silver Hill Road in Mountain. Accident - A vehicle went through the ditch and stuck down part of a fence on County Road BB in Gillett. Theft - A gas pump that was broken into and gas removed on Swedetown Road in Oconto. June 15 Deputies logged 33 incidents, including the following: Burglary - A home on County Road VV in Gillett was broken into while the homeowner was not home. Accident - A male driver struck a turkey on state Highway 22 west of County Road G in Suring, and the turkey went through the windshield. Accident - On state Highway 22 and Duame Road in Stiles, a male driver from De Pere failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the vehicle of a woman driver from Jim Falls. Child Abuse - A child abuse complaint was investigated after a child was taken to an emergency room in Oconto Falls. The child was transferred to a Green Bay hospital for further evaluation. June 14 Deputies logged 32 incidents, including the following: Fireworks - Authorities investigated the use of fireworks on Adams Way in Little Suamico. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a call about people jumping into traffic on Cross Road and County Road S in Sobieski. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a fight regarding the ownership of a horse at a farm on Madsen Road in Suring. Criminal Damage - Someone attempted to break into a cabin on state Highway 22 in Gillett by prying the window open. Suspicious - An individual reported two people were walking around upstairs in his home on Micoley Road, Lena, while he was outside. June 13 Deputies logged 40 incidents, including the following: Animal Bite - Authorities assisted a person from Oconto Falls who reported he was bitten by a raccoon. He has the dead animal to send in for testing. Traffic Hazard - A large piece of metal was reported on state Highway 22 and VanHulle Lane in Oconto. Ambulance - Authorities assisted a female on Vermeiren Road in Oconto who reported she had an accident while riding her horse. Weapon Offense - Authorities investigated a call about a man whose ex-wife said he had a gun and was threatening to injure someone. June 12 Deputies logged 30 incidents, including the following: Traffic Offense - Authorities made a traffic stop on Maple and Sherman Street in Oconto Falls, which resulted in the arrest of four males. Illegal Burn - Authorities investigated a report of tires, oil and garbage burning on Young Road, Oconto Civil Matter - Authorities investigated a report that someone broke into a residence on Laura Lane in Crivitz Suspicious - Authorities investigated a call about three males on County Road T and Shay Lake Road in Townsend walking with backpacks and appearing to be hitchhiking Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a blue Chevy Impala driving dangerously at U.S. Highways 41 and 141, Abrams.
