July 2 Deputies logged 36 incidents, including the following: Animal Bite - Authorities investigated a dog bite incident on Porcupine Lake Road in Lena. A person was bit by a dog whose rabies shots were not current. The dog was quarantined. Attempt to Locate - Authorities assisted with finding a man who left Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. Hospital gave authorities a description of the patient, who left on foot, and requested a K-9 unit be used. Citizen Dispute - Authorities assisted a home owner on St. Patrick’s Road, Lena, with a dispute with Oconto Electric regarding the cutting of trees on his property. Accident - Authorities investigated an accident on state Highways 32 and 64 at the post office in Mountain. An individual was parking at the post office, and the vehicle slipped into gear and stuck the building’s front door. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities were notified by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department of a semitrailer entering Oconto County traveling north on U.S. Highway 41-141. The truck was traveling at inconsistent speeds and swerving. July 1 Deputies logged 32 incidents, including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated an accident in Stiles. A male driver from Wausaukee was northbound on U.S. Highway 141, fell asleep and lost control of his pickup truck. The vehicle entered a ditch and rolled over. He was transported to a hospital. Theft - Authorities investigated a gate and post that were stolen from a property on County Road B in Oconto Falls. Identity Theft - Authorities investigated a call from a female on state Highway 22 in Oconto who had been informed her personal information was used to file for unemployment. Animal Lost - Authorities assisted in finding two lost pot belly pigs about 8 inches tall on Nauke Road in Suring. Accident - Authorities investigated a semitrailer rollover on the round-about at Charles Street in Oconto. Traffic was detoured from just before 1 a.m. until about 7:30 a.m. Oconto Fire Department was on the scene. The semi was smoking due to a fuel leak. June 30 Deputies logged 34 incidents, including the following: Theft - Authorities investigated a call about a male stealing wood from the neighbor’s wood pile on Nelligan Lake Lane in Crivitz. The caller stated he chased him down, made him return the wood and took down his license plate number. Burglary - Authorities investigated a break-in at a cabin on Maiden Lake Road in Mountain. A lock on the gate to the property and the door to the cabin were cut off. Guns and booze were stolen. Theft - Authorities investigated the theft of a pull-behind camper from a property on Menominee Line Road in Gillett. Theft - Authorities investigated the theft of a Rave Bongo water trampoline from Schottky Lane in Lakewood. Accident - Authorities investigated an accident on state Highway 32 and Church Road in Mountain. A male driver from Lakewood lost control of his vehicle when a ball joint and suspension failed. The vehicle entered the ditch. June 29 Deputies logged 28 incidents, including the following: Burglary - Authorities investigated a break-in at a shed on Pleasant View Drive in Pulaski. Fire - Authorities investigated a fire at an abandoned building on Horn Lake Road in Townsend. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a camper and a truck on the side of the road on U.S. Highway 141 and state Highway 22. Two males were engaged in a physical dispute. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a call from a cabin owner on County Road G in Suring. She reported seeing blood all over the kitchen. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a dark truck that was mud-running through the Machickanee Forest in Abrams. It was last seen on East Stiles Tower Road. June 28 Deputies logged 34 incidents, including the following: Disturbance - Authorities investigated a fight in the parking lot at Skinny Dave’s in Mountain. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a call of an unauthorized person with a flashlight in a garage on Union Avenue, Oconto Falls. Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a call stating kids were jumping off the bridge at Superior Avenue at Brothers Three in Oconto. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a call from a home owner on Timber Haven Drive in Little Suamico. His doors and windows were locked and shut when he left his home and open when he returned. Agency assist - Authorities assisted the Menominee County Sheriff with a report of someone dumping trash illegally on County Road M in Suring. June 27 Deputies logged 29 incidents, including the following: Burglary - Authorities investigated stolen batteries taken from lawn care equipment on County Road S, Oconto. Juvenile problem - Authorities assisted with a 14-year-old male who was out of control on Hall Road in Oconto. Unwanted Party - Authorities investigate an intoxicated male on a bike who was wandering around the apartments on North Franklin Street in Oconto Falls. Burglary - Authorities investigated a building that was broken into on County Road VV in Gillett at the Northern Grace Youth Camp. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a call about a male neighbor on Archibald Parkway in Townsend who follows their 17-year-old daughter when she rides the four- wheeler.
