An initial appearance was held for Daniel W. Cornelius, 35, Crivitz, on felony charges of OWI (fifth or sixth offense with passenger under 16), possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred March 15 in Oconto. The court set a $20,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is April 9.
A preliminary hearing was held for Christopher R. Link, 30, Oconto, on felony charges of driving or operating a vehicle without consent, repeater, which allegedly occurred Jan. 16 in Pensaukee. A $2,500 cash bond continues. An arraignment is March 26.
A waiver preliminary hearing and arraignment were held for Vicki L. Steinhaus, 52, Oconto, on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering non-narcotics and two counts manufacturing and delivering schedule IV drugs, which allegedly occurred Sept. 2 and 12 in Oconto. The court entered a not guilty pleas on all counts. A $10,000 signature bond continues. A pretrial conference is April 9.
A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Justin M. Alsteen, 33, Little Suamico, on felony charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety (two counts), possession of THC (second offense) and three misdemeanor charges, from Jan. 25 in Little Suamico. A $2,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is March 26.
A preliminary hearing was held for Chris A. Hoffman, 49, Gillett, on felony charges of OWI (fifth or sixth offense) and bail jumping, which allegedly occurred March 7 in Gillett. A $15,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is March 26.

An initial appearance was held for Adam J. Kuczynski, 28, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of bail jumping, which allegedly occurred March 18 in Oconto Falls. The court set a $30,000 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is April 9.
Proceedings from March 18
A waiver preliminary hearing and bond review were held for Scott J. Arveson, 45, Denmark, on felony charges of using of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement with sexual contact and causing a child 13-18 to view sexual activity, which allegedly occurred Feb. 13 and 15 in Oconto Falls. A $50,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is April 9.
Proceedings from March 17
A preliminary hearing was held for Donald Combs III, 24, Clarksville, Tennessee, on a felony charge of second-degree recklessly endangering safety-use of a dangerous weapon and three misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Feb. 11 in Oconto Falls. A $10,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is March 30.
A final pretrial and arraignment were held for Gary J. Tank, 49, Gillett, on felony charges of first-degree sexual assault-use of a dangerous weapon, second-degree sexual assault-use of force (three counts), false imprisonment, intimidating victim/threatening force, etc., substantial battery-intending bodily harm, aggravated battery, and strangulation and suffocation (two counts). which allegedly occurred Oct. 19 and 27 in Gillett. A $500,000 cash bond was amended to $1,000. A status conference is May 7.
Proceedings from March 16
Ignacio Mejia-Vargas, 50, Oconto, pleaded not guilty to felony charges of manufacturing/delivering THC-second offense (two counts), possession of a firearm by a felon (three counts), possession with intent to deliver THC second offense (two counts) and maintaining a drug trafficking place (second offense), which allegedly occurred Aug. 20, Sept. 12 and Oct. 6 in Oconto. A $15,000 cash bond continues. He has additional charges pending in Green Bay, which will be consolidated with Oconto’s. A plea hearing is May 11.
A motion hearing was held for John E. Brabant, 62, Oconto Falls, on charges of repeated sexual assault of same child (at least three violations of first-degree sexual assault), which allegedly occurred Nov. 1, 2010, through Dec. 31, 2013, in Oconto Falls. A $5,000 cash bond continues. A continued motion hearing is April 21.
Proceedings from March 13
An initial appearance, waiver preliminary hearing and arraignment were held for Trinity N. Steinhoff, 16, Peshtigo. She pleaded not guilty to all felony charges of operator fleeing/eluding an officer- bodily harm or property damage, take and drive a vehicle without consent, party to a crime, second-degree reckless endangering safety and two misdemeanors, which allegedly occurred Feb. 17 in Oconto. The court set a $15,000 cash bond. A status and pretrial conference is March 25.
