Bernice Birr (Schliep), 98, was born on her family’s farm in Abrams on Dec. 30, 1925, the youngest of seven children. A daughter of Albert and Augusta Schliep, she grew up on the farm, and like most children of that time, participated in many of the farm chores. On Oct.

William ‘Bill’ Moody
William “Bill” Moody, 92, Abrams, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, at his home. Bill was born Oct. 26, 1931, to the late Joseph and Doris (Delano) Moody. He married Margaret Sutrick on Aug. 5, 1950. She preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 2018. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army. He started his truck driving career with milk trucks and then drove for Schneider Transport for 25 years.
Adam W. Noack
Adam W. Noack, 35, Clintonville, formerly of Gillett, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at home. He was born on May 5, 1989, in Oconto Falls, son of Lynn (Bitters) Petrin and Ronald Noack Jr. Visitation for Adam will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church, 101 W. Main St., Gillett, from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Chris Byars.
Dorothy L. Szutkowski
Dorothy Szutkowski passed peacefully at Homme Home of Wittenberg on Oct. 3, 2024. Dorothy was born Sept. 24, 1934, to Reuben and Flossie Kerstner of Bowler. She married Edward Szutkowski of Eland in November 1952.
