Bonnie M. Haas

Bonnie Mae Haas, 79, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Homme Home Assisted Living facility in Wittenberg. The daughter of Arthur and Mae (Pockat) Watters was born, October 6, 1943, in the Town of Seneca. Bonnie grew up in Weasel Dam and graduated from Tigerton High School. She married Clifford Haas and moved to Merrill; they later divorced, she sold the house and moved back to Weasel Dam.
Clarence V. Meier
Clarence V. Meier, 85, of Gillett, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023. Clarence was born June 1, 1937, to the late Gustave and Helen (Andre) Meier. He graduated from Butternut High School and later served two years in the U.S. Army, being stationed in New Jersey. He owned Wash On Wheels, a cleaning business, and later worked for Super X in Milwaukee. In June 1996, Clarence married Alice Block-Rubner in Gillett.
Judith Manthei
Judith Manthei, age 76, of Cecil, passed away on April 13, 2023. Judith was born in Shawano on March 21, 1947, daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Olson) Kallies. Judy graduated from Gillett High School. On Dec. 29, 1968, Judy was united in marriage to Donald Manthei at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. Judy took great pride in her home and took wonderful care of everything inside and out.
Terrence Brooks
Fish and game across the state celebrated the passing of Terrence Brooks, 87, of Gillett, fearsome hunter and “King of Chute Pond.” He died peacefully from a long battle of suffering with excessive humility. Born at home March 12, 1936, he remained a lifelong resident of Gillett. He married Janalee Raddant of Shawano in 1963 and raised three children. He was a faithful and dedicated member of St.

Shirley M. Carley, age 91, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Emerald Bay Retirement Community in the Township of Hobart, Brown County. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Marion, is assisting the Carley family.

Timothy A. Lindal Sr.
Timothy A. Lindal Sr., 76, of Gillett, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. Tim was born on May 11, 1946, to the late Theodore and Yolanda “Babe” (Romanpani) Lindal in Kenosha. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from May 31, 1963, to May 10, 1967. Tim worked as a salesman for American Welding and Engineering in Kenosha. He then moved his family to Suring. Tim was very proud of owning Lindal’s Landing from 1981 to 1985.
