Thomas L. Harke, 68, of Shawano, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at his home. Thomas was born on March 19, 1953, in Clintonville as the son of the late Erich and Hazel (Koeller) Harke. Although Thomas had some physical disabilities in his life, he was able to pack a lot into his 68 years. As a young man, he lived with his parents, then with his brother, Don, and for the past 20-some years up in Shawano.

Charmaine Lavonne Olson, 90, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022. Charmaine was born in the Town of Wescott on Oct. 20, 1931, to the late Walter and Anna (Opperman) Kunschke. On June 3, 1950, Charmaine was united in marriage to Verlyn L. Olson at Zion Lutheran Church in Embarrass.

Donna M. Blankschien, 85, of Clintonville, passed away on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 at Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting the family.

LaRue “Lu” M. McKay, 91, of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away Tuesday morning, Feb. 1, 2022 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano. LaRue Margaret Stromberg was born on Dec. 23, 1930, in Milwaukee as the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Meggison) Stromberg. She graduated from Juneau High School and went on to work for Allis-Chalmers in Milwaukee. Lu then met a United States Marine by the name of John “Jake” McKay.

Lisa A. Abbott, 59, of Clintonville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton.

Nancy L. Asplund, 84, Green Bay, formerly of Suring, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022. She was born on Aug. 28, 1937, in Elkhorn to the late Carl and Veronica (Welch) Boutelle. Nancy graduated from Delavan High School and then attended secretarial school in Milwaukee. After graduation, she went to work as a legal secretary.
