Shawano basketball standout transfers to Kaukauna

After just one season at Shawano Community High School, sophomore Eric Carl has transferred to Kaukauna. County Fair Notebook
First fair 5K garners interest So far, 60 people have signed up for the Choose to Move 5K, which will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday near the Mountain Bay Trail. Carol Stoehr, 79, of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at her home. Carol Jean was born on April 16, 1936, to the late Gertrude (Bartelt) and Edward Paiser in Gresham. Rose M. Tonn
Rose “Jackie” M. Tonn, 83, of Bonduel, passed away Sunday morning, Aug. 30, 2015, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born April 13, 1932, daughter of the late Fred and Armeda (Ruelle) Simon. On Aug. 14, 1954, she was united in marriage to James R. Tonn. He preceded her in death on Oct. 18, 1966. Jackie was an active member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Leeman, for over 60 years.
