Packers Offense vs. Eagles Defense The Philadelphia Eagles’ defense helped lead them to the Super Bowl during the 2022 season. Their pass rush was vicious, as they set the team record for sacks that year. Last year saw the defense fall apart down the stretch. The pass rush was not as vicious, and the team will now be breaking in some new rushers. Haason Reddick was traded to the New York Jets this offseason and replaced by Bryce Huff.

Judge Michael Judge ruled that the sentence is consecutive to any other sentences that Anwash is currently serving.

Aug. 30 Pulaski 21, Hortonville 18 The Red Raiders opened the scoring with less than a minute remaining in the first quarter against Hortonville and then scored with less than a minute left in the game to seal the 21-18 win. With 59 seconds left in the first quarter, Ethan Schmidt connected with Trevor Schuessler on a 6-yard pass as Pulaski went on top 7-0. Hortonville scored twice in the second period and led 12-7 at halftime.

Aug. 29 Marion Invitational Tigerton High School played in their first volleyball matches of the season Aug. 29 at the Marion Invitational. Except for the first match of the night, the Tigers kept the sets close and exciting. The Tigers lost their first match to Menominee Nation with identical set scores of 25-10. Menominee Nation also beat Tigerton 2-0. Tigerton then defeated Phelps 2-1 with set scores of 25-22, 25-27 and 15-12.

Aug. 30 Jaguar Classic Shawano golfers scored seven under par for a 65 and earned first-place honors at the Jaguar Classic at Hilly Haven Golf Course in Ashwaubenon. The Jaguar Classic is a four-person scramble with alternating drives. Twenty-one teams competed. De Pere placed second with a 67, and Seymour was third with a 68. Shawano is in second place in the Bay Conference. Next up is a conference mini-meet Sept. 10 at Seymour.

Aug. 30 Pulaski 2, Appleton East 0 One goal in each half was enough for Pulaski as the Red Raiders shut out Appleton East 2-0 in non-conference action. Maddox McKeefry started the scoring with an unassisted goal at 23 minutes. At 53 minutes in the second half, Riley Crocker scored on an assist from Hudson Schultz. Pulaski had nine shots on goal compared to two for Appleton East.
