Horst P. Ellwart Jr., 48, of Bowler, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Weston Hospital. He was the beloved son of the late Horst P. Ellwart Sr. and Michele (DePlanche) McCallister. He was born in Menomonee Falls and raised in Milwaukee. Horst was a chef all his life and enjoyed fishing, throwing darts and spending time with his family.

Lillian V. Korth, 90, of Embarrass, formerly of the Angelus Retirement Community in Clintonville, passed into heaven Sunday afternoon, Aug. 4, 2013, at the Pine Manor Health Care Center in Embarrass. Lillian was born on June 20, 1923, in the town of Fairbanks, Shawano County, as the daughter of the late Emil and Johanna (Michel) Menge. She graduated from Tigerton High School in 1940 and was later united in marriage to Arwerd Korth on Jan.

Karla Mae Criscione, 49, of Shawano, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at a local nursing home. Born on Aug. 16, 1963, in Shawano, she was the daughter of Audrey (Schreiber) Criscione and the late Sylvester Criscione. Karla was a member of the Red River Riders and the Packer Jets Bowling Team. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith.

The first Saturday of August proved to be a beautiful night for racing at the Shawano Speedway. The IMCA Modified was the first of five feature races. Elder Robert Koeller, 87, was called home to glory on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay surrounded by his family. Elder was born Oct. 6, 1927, to Arnold and Martha (Schwenke) Koeller in the town of Larabee in Waupaca County. He was baptized into his heavenly family on Oct. 30, 1927. Elder was raised on the family farm in rural Clintonville and graduated from Clintonville High School.
