The Shawano County Board will vote whether to approve its latest county wage study Wednesday, but there already seem to be mixed feelings on the matter. Sentencings were handed down Wednesday in two criminal cases stemming from Internet sex sting operations conducted over the past two years, and another three cases were added as a result of a sting operation over the weekend. The new cases bring to nine the number of people arrested in Shawano County for using a computer to facilitate a sex crime.

Some of Aesop’s fables and the Brothers Grimm will come to life this week as Shawano Community High School drama students present “Story Theatre” in three performances Thursday through Saturday.
