Two people were taken to Shawano Medical Center on Tuesday following a single-vehicle rollover on state Highway 22 in the town of Washington. The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department said the vehicle was turning onto westbound Highway 22 around 11:30 a.m.

Thomas W. Wenzel, 75, of St. Germain, and formerly of Oconto Falls, passed away on Jan. 17, 2015, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. He was born on Oct. 14, 1939, in Elkhorn, the son of Alfred and Anne (nee Walker) Wenzel. Tom attended 3rd Ward Elementary School and graduated from Lake Geneva High School in 1957.

James L. Tolzman, 62, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully Jan. 30, 2015, at St. Michael’s Hospital, Stevens Point, with his family at his side. He was born Oct. 22, 1952, in Oconto Falls, the son of Albert W. and Mary Jean (Boettcher) Tolzman. James was employed at Dick Meyer Company of Coloma. Mr. Tolzman enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and hunting.

Nancy Kathleen (Davis) Peterson, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 21, 2015. Born in Cambridge, Ohio, on Aug. 13, 1942, the daughter of Myron and Ismay Davis, Nancy graduated from Cambridge High School and Kent State University. Nancy taught first, second and fourth grades at Frazeysburg Elementary School, then met her husband Duane in Akron, Ohio, while teaching second grade at Lockwood Elementary in Coventry Township.

Ethel C. Linzmeyer, 97, of Gillett, died Jan. 31, 2015. She was born May 13, 1917, to the late Otto and Emma (nee Trettin) Wetzel in Gillett. Ethel was raised in Gillett, where she attended Gillett Grade School and graduated from Gillett High School in 1934 as salutatorian. She also took classes at the Green Bay Vocational School. Ethel was united in marriage to Richard Linzmeyer on June 14, 1941, in Gillett.
