The 47th annual Shawano County Arts and Crafts Fair at Mielke Park on Sunday will have some new additions as well as the always popular vendors from previous years. The Oconto Area Humane Society will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22. The shelter has devoted 10 years to reuniting lost pets with their families and finding homes for stray and abandoned animals in the area.
