Members of the public safety committee agreed to the new deal, which will be forwarded to the county’s executive committee.

Jeff Patterson, president of Adams Publishing Group’s Central Division, has been elected president of the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. Patterson succeeds Kris O’Leary, publisher of the (Abbotsford) Tribune-Phonograph, (Cornell) Courier Sentinel, (Edgar) Record-Review, (Loyal) Tribune Record Gleaner and The (Medford) Star News.
