Gail Ann Villiard, 72, passed away peacefully Jan. 30, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born in Alexandria, Minnesota, to Ernest and Erva (Olson) Jenson on Nov. 28, 1947.
She met and married her husband Dennis W. Villiard on Sept. 13, 1969, in Wendell, Minnesota. Together they raised nine children and celebrated 50 years together. She loved her vegetable and flower gardens but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Gail is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Elizabeth (Matthew) Robertson, Martha Villiard, Leona (Methuselah) Brown, Sheela (Jerome) Johnson, Gad (Bathsheba) Villiard, Jael (Nahor) Sindt, Dinah (Dave) Sommerfeld, Michal Villiard and Naomi (Jeremiah) Sindt; 37 grandchildren with one more on the way; one great-grandchild, Yuna Pearl; siblings, Roger (Judy) Jenson, Marilyn (Ray) Tangen, Dale (Kathleen) Jenson, Darla (Jeffery) Johnson and Holly (Miles) Gulbranson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Lazarus Carmelo Lewis; her in-laws; and a sister-in-law.
A private family service will be held at Blaney Funeral Home. Her final resting place will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
