An assault in Cecil early Saturday that sent a 27-year-old Gillett man to the hospital was still under investigation Tuesday by the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department.
Kyle Patzer was listed in serious but stable condition with a skull fracture and other injuries. The incident took place about 1 a.m. outside a tavern on Warrington Avenue.
Capt. Tom Tuma said parties on scene were not cooperative but authorities are still hoping a witness or others at the bar will provide more information.
