Mark L. “Sparky” Schwartz, 56, of Shawano, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at his home. Born on Jan. 25, 1958, in Shawano, he was the son of Kenneth and the late Carmen (Laux) Schwartz.
Mark lived in Shawano for all of his life and was formerly employed by Weber and Schmidt Lumber. He enjoyed stock car racing.
Mark is survived by his lifetime partner, Elaine; his daughter, Tammy (Tracy) Wassenberg, of Shawano; his father, Kenneth; and his brother, David Schwartz, of West Virginia.
Mark is preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Rest Cemetery in Gresham. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
