Tigerton honors spring athletes

Jacob Minniecheske and Charity Desrochers were named the Tigerton High School track and field Most Valuable Athletes as the school held its annual spring athletes awards program June 5 at the school. For the Tigerton baseball team, Woodrow Nelson and Tyler Marquardt were named co-Most Valuable Players. Logan Monderson was named Most Improved Player. Erin Robbins and Emily Wendt were co-Most Valuable Players for the softball team. Both girls also earned awards for playing all four seasons. Sarah Gauthier received the Coach’s Award. Ashley Knaup was named Most Improved Underclassman, while Payton Bailey was named Most Improved Upperclassman. Bailey was also a four-year senior award winner.
