Diane Marie Kettner, 70, of Bonduel, died on Friday, June 20, 2014, at home. Born on Sept. 19, 1943, in Milwaukee, she is the daughter of the late Ervin and Esther (Erickson) Bleckschmidt.
Diane was united in marriage to Gordon “Gordy” Kettner on July 1, 1967, in Milwaukee. The couple moved to the Shawano area in 1994, where Diane worked in the Shawano Hospital Critical Care Unit as a monitor technician. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking and collecting doll houses.
Diane is survived by her husband, Gordy; her sister, Nadine (Tom) Gifford, of Waukesha; nieces and nephews, Jeff (Amy) Gifford, of Waukesha, and their children, Aly, Eric and Brittney; Mark (Tonia) Gifford, of Burlington, and their children, Samantha, Zak, Tanner and Mason; Tanya (Pete) Mirek, of Grafton, and their children, Jaden, Camille and Wyatt. She is further survived by numerous friends and neighbors who were very close to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Friday, June 27, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in the Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
