The Msgr. Loerke Council No. 1922 of Knights of Columbus, with assistance from the community, will sponsor Clintonville’s 37th annual Thanksgiving dinner.
The free dinner will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 27 at the Community Center, 30 S. Main St. All area persons are welcome to share a meal if they do not have a place to go that day.
A traditional holiday menu is planned: roast turkey, baked ham, potatoes, stuffing, cranberries, two vegetables, coleslaw, bread, beverages and homemade pies.
The cost of the dinner is funded by proceeds from a raffle conducted by the Knights of Columbus and by donations from the community.

Carry-outs will also be available. Those interested in carry-outs, which will be available starting at noon, must make a reservation.
The Knights are seeking donations of homemade pies, with pumpkin and mincemeat preferred. Anyone willing to bake a pie is asked to contact Dick Writt at 715-823-6477 or writt@frontiernet.net.
Volunteers are also needed for all aspects of the event. A special need this year is for several people able to carve turkeys. Those willing to help with the food preparation or who want to make a food donations other than pies should contact Rick Rauterkus at 715-250-0262.
Volunteers willing to help set up, serve and clean up after the meal or make other donations are asked to contact Writt.
