To the editor:
Our city has been fortunate to have had dedicated leaders who have served to make our city and community better for the majority of the people.
We now look forward to another election where we the people can choose those who will lead. Even in a smaller community, our choices are important. We need to select leaders who have the courage and capacity to keep us moving forward, always striving to improve our community.
I have come to know Jim Oberstein and have had the privilege to work with him in volunteer work. Not only is he a dedicated and dependable worker, but also when you check his résumé it becomes clear he has the expertise, values and experience to be the kind of leader we looking for as our next mayor.
I suggest each voter carefully examine his record. I’ll be voting for Jim Oberstein.
