Daniel R. Williams, 20, Pulaski, made an initial appearance on repeater charges of being party to burglary and party to theft of movable property which allegedly took place Oct. 1 in the town of Chase. His bond was set at $20,000 cash, and his appearance will continue Oct. 10. He is to have no contact with the alleged victims.
Proceedings from Oct. 2
Jacob J. Magee, 19, Gillett, pleaded not guilty to charges of being party to burglary and party to causing criminal damage to property May 9 in the town of Stiles, to party to attempted burglary on May 12 in Lena, to being party to a theft on May 9 in the town of Stiles, and party to theft May 10 in Oconto. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Nov. 1, and a $2,500 cash bond continues. He is to have no contact with the victims or accomplices.
A jury trial scheduled Oct. 3 for Nash W. Fiske, 24, Oconto, was called off after plea negotiations. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, which was dismissed, and he pleaded no contest to, as a repeater, possessing drug paraphernalia. He was arrested June 8 in Oconto. Fiske is to spend four months in jail, consecutive to a present sentence.
An arraignment is Oct. 9 for Charles M. Galbraith, 51, Pound, who faces eight counts of failure to pay child support between March 1, 2009, and March 22, 2012. His $2,500 cash bond continues.
Barry B. O’Connor, 37, Oconto, was sentenced after revocation of his probation to 180 days in jail for theft, a charge which was amended from uttering forgery on May 30, 2011, in Oconto. He will receive credit for 69 days already served. A court costs balance of $178.25 remains due. A second theft charge was dismissed.

A 12-person jury found Richard T. Stelter, 34, Pound, not guilty of battery causing bodily harm to another on Oct. 31, 2012, in the town of Bagley, and the case was dismissed.
Proceedings from Sept. 30
Shawn L. Kramer, Lena, 48, made an initial appearance on charges of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping which allegedly occurred Sept. 28 in Lena. Her appearance is continued to Oct. 10, and a $10,000 cash bond continues. She is to maintain absolute sobriety and have no illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia.
Tad M. Huempfer, 26, Green Bay, entered a no contest plea to possessing a controlled substance on Jan. 6, 2013, in the town of Pensaukee. Sentencing was withheld, and he was placed on probation a year with the conditions he spend 30 days in jail and pay $243 court costs. He is to have no alcohol, illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia.
Frank Long, 31, Suring, was sentenced to three years in prison on a charge of causing substantial battery to another which took place June 8 in the town of How. He is to spend a year and six months in confinement and two years on extended supervision, pay $268 court costs, find full-time employment, not be in the company of those using or possessing illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia, attend alcohol and other drug abuse assessment, and receive any treatment or evaluation recommended.
Proceedings from Sept. 27
Robert S. Brostrom, 77, Abrams, pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated which allegedly occurred Aug. 14 and Aug. 25 in the town of Abrams, fifth or sixth offenses. His pretrial conference will take place Nov. 12, and a $5,000 cash bond continues. He is not to drive without a valid license and maintain absolute sobriety.
Brian J. Kocken, 43, Oconto Falls, was sentenced to a year in jail for driving while intoxicated which took place Dec. 25, 2012, in Oconto Falls. The sentence was imposed and stayed. He was placed on probation two years for hit and fun causing injury on the same date and ordered to spend 225 days in jail, must maintain absolute sobriety, attend alcohol and other drug abuse assessment, pay $250 DNA surcharge, his driver’s license is revoked 36 months and an ignition interlock was imposed 36 months.
Heith M. Warner, 42, Oconto Falls, entered not guilty pleas to two counts of manufacturing with intent to deliver a controlled substance, maintaining a drug trafficking place, both which allegedly took place May 13 in Oconto Falls, and to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance on May 10 in Oconto Falls. His pretrial conference will be held Oct. 10, and a $10,000 signature bond continues. He is to have no alcohol or illegal drugs or be in places alcohol is sold or served.
A presentence investigation was ordered for Ryan J. Netzer, 25, Lena. He faces four charges of delivering a controlled substance which allegedly took place Sept. 6, 18, Nov. 12 and Dec. 3, 2012, in Oconto County. After plea negotiations, he pleaded guilty to two charges, and two charges will be read in and dismissed. Sentencing is to be held Nov. 13. His $10,000 cash bond continues, and he is to have no alcohol or illegal drugs and not be in places alcohol is sold or served.
Thomas L. McMonagle, 82, Kewaunee, pleaded no contest to issuing two worthless checks at Matraver’s Hardware, Oconto, on Oct. 19 and Oct. 20, 2011. His sentencing was withheld, and he was ordered to pay $493.10 restitution, $243 court costs and have no checking accounts during the one-year probation which was ordered.
