Expo targets owners of small businesses

Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch will be the keynote speaker at the Northeast Wisconsin Small Business Expo, a first-time event intended to support and grow small businesses in the area. Kleefisch will tell about the various programs Wisconsin offers to help small businesses succeed. Other featured speakers are Kevin Kuhlman and Bill Koehne. Kuhlman, from the National Federation of Independent Businesses, will share information about the Affordable Healthcare Act. Koehne, of Packerland Websites, Abrams, will speak to owners about how to grow their small business through social marketing. The expo is hosted by local small businesses. The event features information and services that focus on small business needs and solutions. The expo will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at the Stadium View banquet facility, 1963 Holmgren Way, Green Bay. Admission to the expo is $5 or free with the donation of a nonperishable food item to be given to local food pantries. Parking is provided at no charge.
