George Muth

George Edward Muth, of Gillett, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at his home. The son of the late George Robert Muth and Berniece Jomen was born July 19, 1931, in Gillett. George attended Gillett Public Schools. In May 1951 he enlisted in the United States Navy and served until his discharge in April 1955. On Jan. 21, 1956, he married the former Bonnie Wilson in Gillett. He lived most of his life in the Gillett area. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Muth, and one sister, Monica Hischke. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; one daughter, Terry, of Green Bay; two sons, Richard, of Cecil, and Daniel, of Oconto Falls; two grandsons, Dustin and Dillon, both of Oconto Falls; one brother-in-law, Dale Hischke, of Gillett; and one sister-in-law, Barb Muth, of Charleston, S.C. In accordance with the wishes of the deceased, no formal funeral serves will be held. Burial will be in Wanderer’s Rest Cemetery in Gillett. Kuehl Funeral Home of Gillett, 920-855-2144, is assisting the family with arrangements.
