CMH accepts donation for patient tables

The Community Healthcare Foundation recently accepted a $12,000 donation to enhance patient care areas. The donation has been earmarked for new bedside patient tables that fit patient beds properly, are less bulky than current tables and are easier for the patients to use and move. The donation was made anonymously by longtime friends of the Community Healthcare Foundation and Community Memorial Hospital. “The generosity of this community is heart-warming,” CHF Director Ann Senn said. “Knowing that many family and friends have and will be in need of the services at Community Memorial Hospital, I am encouraged by this donation.” The Community Healthcare Foundation raises funds for the hospital through annual events such as the Spring Fling fundraiser and the Community Memorial Hospital Golf Classic. But one of the most critical ways in which the foundation raises funds is through donations by supporters. The Community Healthcare Foundation is federally designated as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Its volunteer board of directors raises funds for health care education scholarships, technology advances and capital equipment to enhance and increase access of medical services at Community Memorial Hospital and the CMH Primary Care Clinics throughout Oconto County.
