Lennice Mae (Courchaine) Swearingen, 70, village of Lena, passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014. She was born March 3, 1944, in the town of Little River to Lawrence and Lucille (Dunk) Courchaine.
Preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Swearingen, parents, three brothers and three sisters.
She was a graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in nursing and was employed at Jones Nursing Home until her retirement. She dedicated her life taking care of her daughter.
Lennice is survived by her four boys, Bradley Sexton, Chris Sexton, David Sexton, Donald Swearingen and her daughter, Tina Sexton, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and extended family. Siblings are Francis Courchaine, Cletus Courchaine, Leatrice Milhans, Claris Collins, Anita Coxwell and Bernard Courchaine.
Lennice was laid to rest at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Mountain Cemetery, Emily Road at Silver Hill Road, Mountain.
