Dec. 11 Deputies logged 25 incidents, including the following: Welfare Check - Authorities checked on a 65-year-old woman on Balcom Lake Road in Oconto Falls after her family had not been able to contact her for two days. Disturbance - Authorities assisted with a custody issue involving a family on state Highway 22 in Oconto. Accident - A driver struck two deer at once on state Highway 32 in Mountain. Threatening - A woman on Yurek Road in Pulaski reported receiving threatening messages from an ex-husband. Motorist Assist - The tire fell off a vehicle on U.S. Highway 41-141, north of exit 185, in Abrams. Dec. 10 Deputies logged 23 incidents, including the following: Suicide Attempt - A person on Wintergreen Road, Oconto, threatened to commit suicide. Juvenile Problem - Authorities assisted with an out-of-control girl on County Road C in Oconto Falls who kicked a hole in a wall. Disturbance - Authorities assisted with a domestic disturbance on County Road CC in Oconto Falls. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted the Shawano Police Department with a reckless semitruck driver who entered Oconto County on state Highway 22 in Gillett. Disorderly - A man on state Highway 22 and County Road K in Oconto Falls said he was punched in the face by another man. Dec. 9 Deputies logged 33 incidents, including the following: Welfare Check - Authorities assisted a woman having suicidal thoughts in Gillett. Theft - A homeowner on County Road C in Oconto Falls reported the home may have been entered repeatedly by a neighbor, and things were missing. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a minivan rear-ending a grain truck on U.S. Highway 41 and County Road J in Abrams. Animal Problem - Authorities investigated the report of a pit bull mix running loose on Peshtigo Brook Road, Suring. Dec. 8 Deputies logged 32 incidents, including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 141 and Chicken Shack Road in Oconto. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of gunshots fired behind a home on Sherrie Lane in Gillett. Utility Problem - Authorities investigated a report of wires down on County Road A at the Little River Fire Department. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a semitruck and a vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 141 and County Road I in Lena, ending with both vehicles in the ditch. Three people were trapped. The injured were transported to St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Accident - Authorities investigated a jack-knifed semitruck on northbound U.S. Highway 141 near the exit to Lena. Authorities requested that the highway department plow and salt the area. The highway was closed for a short while. Dec. 7 Deputies logged 28 incidents, including the following: Suicide Attempt - Authorities assisted with a report from the Veterans Crisis Center that a veteran on McDonald Street in Oconto was threatening to commit suicide. The subject was calmed and taken to a hospital. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle in the tree line on the south side of U.S. Highway 141 near Timberline Road in Abrams. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Schroeder Road in Oconto Falls. Attempt to Locate - Authorities assisted Green Bay Police with a report of an armed robbery in which a gun and ammunition were taken, along with a white Equinox, located on Logtown Road in Oconto. The suspect was brought out by his father. Tavern Complaint - Authorities investigated a report of patrons in Twisted Tap Bar, County Road S, Sobieski, past bar time. Dec. 6 Deputies logged 30 incidents, including the following: Property Damage - Authorities investigated a report of a mailbox struck during the night on Hoganwood Circle, Sobieski. Threatening - Authorities investigated a report of a driver who stopped to talk to a hunter walking on Daly Creek Road in Gillett. The hunter reportedly pointed his weapon at the driver and threatened him. Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of driver on state Highway 22 near the Lilac Club in Oconto Falls who heard a loud boom that shook her car. When she arrived at her destination, she noticed what appeared to be gunshot holes through two car windows. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a suspicious truck backed up to a neighbor’s house on Central Road in Suring. Dec. 5 Deputies logged 40 incidents, including the following: Burglary - Authorities investigated two separate calls reporting someone with a brown truck breaking into their neighbor’s home on South Chase Road, Sobieski. Traffic Hazard - A female was walking in the middle of the road on state Highway 32 in Townsend. Theft - Authorities investigated the report of someone taking two catalytic converters from trucks on East Frontage Road in Little Suamico. Accident - A vehicle slid off the exit ramp on County Road S in Sobieski. Littering - Authorities investigated a report of a male throwing garbage out of his van on County Road S in Little Suamico. The caller provided a description of the man and license plate number.
