The Kelly Lake Sportsman’s Club will hold its annual ice fishing derby from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10. The family event will be held under a heated tent and includes a fishing contest with cash awards. A hot lunch and refreshments will be available.
Bucket, meat and 50/50 raffles will be held. The children’s raffle prizes will be a boy’s bike and girl’s bike, donated by Sharper Image Salon, Jamie Campbell, and Janet and Richard Greason.
The raffle grand prize is a Kubota 400 RTV with a Graetz trailer. Other prizes are a fishing package donated by Eric Manski, of Coleman Northwoods Sporting Goods, and Jeremiah Vizelka, of Viz’s Kelly Lake Bar; Vexilar Underwater Color Camera, from Lee Lake Bar; quarter of beef, from Meatski’s Quality Meats; Horton 150 Explorer Crossbow, from Mark Rost of Harlan Patz Construction; H&R .410 single shotgun, from Romy’s Holiday Inn; two passes to Porterfield Country Music Festival, from Joe’s Recycling; cooler of beef, from R.O.C. Ranch Park; pontoon rental and gift certificate to Holiday Inn, from Yancy’s Power Sports; and $250 cash, from Associated Bank of Coleman and Oconto Falls.
Raffle tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10 and are available at local businesses.
