The Oconto Falls High School girls basketball team lost 60-39 to the host team Dec. 30 in the championship game of the Manitowoc Lincoln Holiday Tournament.
The Panthers (4-5, 2-3 Bay Conference) advanced to the championship game with a 30-29 victory over Port Washington on Dec. 29.
Senior guard Liz Manns led Oconto Falls with 14 points against Port Washington and 13 against Manitowoc Lincoln.
Manns, who was named to the all-tournament team, also had five rebounds, two steals and an assist in the championship game.
Junior point guard Bailey Wolf matched Manns’ 13 points in the final. She also snagged six rebounds and had three steals and three assists.
The Ships entered halftime up 35-15 after holding Oconto Falls to four second-period points.
Manitowoc Lincoln (8-0, 3-0 Fox River Classic) had four scorers with 12 points each: sophomore guard Nicole Parrish, senior guard Hailey Kotche, junior guard Mallory Dixon and senior Alyssa Fischer.
Fischer, who has committed to play basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, also had a team-leading seven assists.
Senior forward Meg Wolowicz led the Ships with 10 rebounds.
Jen Krueger led Oconto Falls with eight rebounds.
