Jan. 29 Deputies logged 25 incidents, including the following: Traffic Hazard - Authorities investigated a report of an extremely icy intersection at Klause Lake Road and Gillett Town Hall Road in Gillett. Lost Property - A truck driver on U.S. Highway 141 in Lena reported a lost wallet. Burglary - Authorities investigated a report from an alarm company of a possible break-in on Heimke Lane at Silver Rail Bar and Grill in Abrams. Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated a report of a punctured fuel tank on a truck on state Highway 22 in Lena. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted the Department of Revenue in installing a till tap at two area businesses, The Barn Tavern on County A in Lena and Irish Greens Golf Club on Logtown Road in Oconto, to collect past due taxes. Jan. 28 Deputies logged 41 incidents, including the following: Noise Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of a man who was screaming while walking down Park Avenue and Congress Street in Oconto at 2:45 a.m. Alarm - Authorities investigated a report of an alarm at Brookside Shell in Abrams. Authorities found the door broken and cigarettes stolen. Domestic - Authorities investigated a report of a physical confrontation on Main Street in Oconto Falls. Burglary - Authorities investigated a cabin break-in on Berry Lake Road in Gillett in which a television was stolen. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that swerved to miss a deer and hit a mailbox on state Highway 32 in Suring. Jan. 27 Deputies logged 21 incidents, including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated a one-vehicle accident on County Road C in Oconto Falls. One person was injured and taken to HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital. Runaway - Authorities investigated a report of a juvenile from Ucil Lake Road, Pound, who hasn’t been to school. They contacted family and friends to locate the juvenile. Drugs - Authorities investigated a report of possible drug activity at a rental unit on Old 32 Road in Mountain. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted Wabeno School District with a child having behavior issues at the school. Burglary - Authorities investigated a home break-in on Old 32 Road in Mountain. Jan. 26 Deputies logged 22 incidents, including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a 10-year-old on Winding Creek Trail in Abrams who received alarming text messages and voice mails on her phone. When contacted by the child’s parent, the subject hung up. Parents were advised to have this number blocked by the phone company. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted Oconto County Human Services as a representative made contact with a possible drug addict on Krueger Street in Suring. Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated a report of damage on a tree farm on state Highway 32 in Suring. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle on South Chase Road in Pulaski that hit a driveway and part of a cedar tree. The vehicle may have been associated with other damage and a theft in the area. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a man parked on the U.S. Highway 41/141 exit ramp in Abrams who was slumped over. Jan. 25 Deputies logged 16 incidents, including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report from Yurek Road at Peters Quarry in Pulaski that a loader may have been set on fire overnight. Suicide Attempt - Authorities assisted with a report of kids threatening suicide on Sampson Road in Abrams. Welfare Check - Authorities visited a person on Melissa Boulevard in Little Suamico who had not been responding to telephone calls from a friend. Accident - Authorities investigated a one-vehicle accident on Melissa Boulevard in Little Suamico. The driver lost control and struck a home in the middle of the night. Jan. 24 Deputies logged 31 incidents, including the following: Burglary - Authorities investigated a burglary on County Road W in Gillett. A neighbor noticed a building had been broken into. Wanted Person - Authorities assisted the Department of Corrections locate a wanted person on South Rangeline Road in Oconto. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of a mother taking things and pawning them from a home on Blue Grouse Trail in Sobieski. Welfare Check - Authorities assisted the Ashwaubenon Police Department by checking on someone on Woodduck Lane in Little Suamico who is a diabetic and said she is going to kill herself by taking too much insulin. Threatening - Authorities investigated a report of a man on Beaver Lake Road in Oconto Falls whose fellow employee threatened to kill him. The employee left a message on the man’s home answering machine. Jan. 23 Deputies logged 36 incidents, including the following: Weapon Offense - Authorities investigated a report of a gunshot near Caldwell Avenue and Main Street in Oconto Falls. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of an-out-of-control grandmother who was threatening herself and others in the home on Shay Lake Lane in Pound. Threatening - Authorities investigated a report of an estranged husband making threats on Delcore Road in Oconto. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a trail that appears to be human footprints going from a neighbor’s back door to the field on Chestnut Road in Oconto Falls. Citizen Assist - Authorities assisted with a child custody exchange on County Road Z in Pound.
