All-stars, coaches raising funds for charity

Every player and coach involved in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Game in July has been asked to collect at least $750 for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. “It’s a very special feeling to be able to play for someone to help them out and knowing that I’m doing something good for them,” said Gillett High School running back Monte Noffke, who was recently selected to the team and has set a personal goal of raising $3,000. “I’ve gotten some good donations, some $200 ones. I’ll be able to raise ($750) and then some.” Gillett coach Rick Kamps also is raising funds as one of the North small school squad’s defensive coaches.
