All Arts Day 2015 was held April 1 at Oconto Falls Elementary School. Many artistic forms of expression were experienced by students, including music, theater, dance and applied art.
The Tonantzin Dance Company started the day with a morning assembly of dancing and history of the Aztec culture. Partners in Education sponsored this performance.
Students in 4-year-old kindergarten through fifth grade rotated through various art presentations throughout the day. Each grade was actively involved with the talents of their presenters. Many different art forms were shared, including storytelling, Mexican dance, swing dancing, quilting, glass blowing, magic, origami, folk toys, folk singing, gymnastics, clay projects, juggling and tae kwon do.
The closing assembly was a performance by the Marinette Middle School African drum group led by Paul Okray.
Many parent and grandparent volunteers stepped forward to help make the day a success. The custodians, kitchen staff, secretaries and Principal Dan Moore also provided extra help.
