Abrams theater is off to see ‘Wizard’

Abrams Spotlight Productions Inc. will present “The Wizard of Oz,” based on the classic story by L. Frank Baum, from Dec. 4-6 and Dec. 11-13 at The Byng Community Theater in Abrams. Opening night is 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, and will include a gala. Patrons will join the cast and crew for complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks after the show. Subsequent show dates are 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 and 12; 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 and 13; and 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11. Performances are at The Byng Community Theater, 5852 Maple St., Abrams. Tickets are $12 for adults ages 18-64, $10 for seniors 65 and older and youth ages 5-17, and $5 for children 4 and younger.
