Lillian Hoyt

Lillian Hoyt, 87, Oconto Falls, died Saturday morning, Nov. 28, 2015, at home. She was born March 4, 1928, in Oconto County to John and Hilda (Tank) Pashek. On Aug. 10, 1946, Lillian married Isaac “Bud” Hoyt at Trinity Lutheran Church in Coleman. The couple farmed in the town of Maple Valley for four years before moving to Milwaukee in 1950. Lillian was employed by the Allis Chalmers Co. for over 20 years before retiring with her husband in the town of Brazeau in 1996. The couple moved to Oconto Falls in 1996. Over the years, Lillian and Bud enjoyed hunting and fishing together in Wisconsin, in the Western United States and Canada. Following the death of Bud in 1997, Lillian had a special friendship with Joe DeKeyser, who preceded her in death in 2006. Survivors are one brother-in-law, Ellsworth Hoyt, Newald; cousins and longtime caregivers Dolores and Vernon Graveen; Lynn Montie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bud. Visitation will be held at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls after 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, until a time of sharing of memories at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in the Town of Brazeau Cemetery.
