From new recreational opportunities to local trail improvements, Shawano Pathways has plenty to share about the past year.
The organization will highlight its 2026 accomplishments and plans for 2027 at its annual social and report to the community on Nov. 17 at the American Legion Hall, 850 S. Lincoln St., Shawano.
Highlights include the new cycling pump track (made possible by Shawano Adventure Sports), Shawano Paddlers’ weekly outings and new initiatives, and improvements at Maple Hills Recreation Area, including a new map, signage system and benches.
Attendees can also view the annual photography contest winners, pick up the 2027 winter hike and snowshoe series schedule and purchase a Shawano Trails desk calendar featuring local photography.
Social hour begins at 5 p.m. with cheese plates, followed by sandwiches, fruit and vegetable platters, and an ice cream sundae bar at 5:45 p.m. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. A cash bar and 50/50 raffle will also be available.
Admission is free, and donations are appreciated. Walk-ins are welcome, but advance registration is encouraged to help with planning. For details and registration, visit www.shawanopathways.org/annual-social.
