Donna M. Gandt, 79, Oconto, passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Oconto Health and Rehab, Oconto.
Donna was born Feb. 15, 1947, to the late Joseph and Lorraine (Hoffman) Ascher. She married Larry Gandt on Oct. 2, 1971. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1998. Donna worked for many years, and retired from, McDermid Trucking.
She was recognized for her over 35 years of service to the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Donna was a member of First American Lutheran Church, Oconto.
Donna is survived by two sons, Michael (Shirley) Gandt, Mark (Nicole) Gandt; a sister, Mary (Lee) Deneys; three grandchildren, Mark Gandt, Nicholas Gandt, Rachel Mellen; five great-grandchildren, Lane Mellen, Easton Mellen, Malorie Kuntze, Richard Kuntze III, Max Kuntze; sisters-in-law, Helen Raddant, Sally Werner, Janet Gandt; brothers-in-law, Herman (Wendy) Gandt and Richard (Kari) Gandt; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Kuntze II; brother, Michael Ascher; in-laws, Allen Raddant, Wade Werner, Judy Gandt and Mary (Marvin) Schelk.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Oct. 19, 2026. Memorial services will be noon Monday at the funeral home by Rev.
