Wittenberg hosts circus performances

Leo the Clown and the ringmaster entertain the crowd as the crew sets up for the next act at the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus on Aug. 14 in Wittenberg. The two performances held that day were presented by the Wittenberg Area Chamber of Commerce. The crowds were entertained with high-flying trapeze artists, animal acts, clowns and stunts.
