Hawks golfers take third at Bay Conference Championship

Bonduel scored a 339, followed by Marion in fifth with 368, Wittenberg-Birnamwood in sixth with 376 and Menominee Nation/Gresham in seventh with 386. Bogacz and Fischer each scored 77 and were joined by Cole Westphal with 89 and Cameron Schroeder with 96. Cory Wussow also carded a 98. Marion was led by Collin Grogan’s 84. Also scoring were Elijah Scheef with 86, and Jarren Faehling and Brady Malueg each with 99. James Nolan also carded a 104. For Wittenberg-Birnamwood, George Seegmiller led with an 83. He was followed by Luca Pelusi with 92, Grant Hanson with 99 and Nicholas Flak with 102. Roman Johnson also had a 105. “I was pleased to see George (Seegmiller) again post a decent score, which hopefully can carry over into regionals,” coach Chris Bartletti said. “Luca (Pelusi) posted his best round of the season, and Grant (Hanson) was able to take third on our team in his first varsity meet.” Menominee Nation/Gresham scores were Elliott Penass with 93, Gabe Boivin with 95, Allex Mahl with 99 and Anikohsaeh Corn with 99. Holly Brady had a 123.
