The average price received by farmers for corn during February in Wisconsin was $4.51 per bushel, according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report. This was 32 cents above the January price and 37 cents above February 2024.
The February 2025 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $9.91 per bushel, was 1 cent below the January price and $2.19 below the February 2024 price.
The February average oat price per bushel, at $3.82, was 22 cents above January but 32 cents below February 2024.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $124 per ton in February. This was $8 below the January price and $28 below the February 2024 price. The February 2025 alfalfa hay price, at $136 was $6 below the previous month and $50 below February 2024. The average price received for other hay during February was $79 per ton. This was $5 below the January price and $73 below February last year.
The average price for milk was $23.70 per hundredweight (cwt), 20 cents below the January price but $4.70 above February 2024.
The U.S. all milk price for February was $23.60 per cwt, 10 cents lower than Wisconsin’s price and 50 cents lower than last month’s U.S. price.
