Winning baseball teams score in double digits

April 12 Bonduel 10, Weyauwega-Fremont 4 Bonduel traveled to Ashwaubenon to play Weyauwega-Fremont in a conference tilt, winning 10-4. The Bears trailed 4-3 after two innings but tied it on a Joe Felhofer base hit. Bonduel then broke it open in the fourth with back-to-back doubles by Race Anvelink and Beckett Hartlaben and an RBI from Kody Schroeder on a groundout. The Bears scored three more in the fifth on singles by Carter Moesch, Mason Zuleger and Jack Zernicke. The Bears ran wild on the bases, stealing 12 bases led by Moesch and Zuleger with three each. Moesch had three hits to lead the Bears, and Beckett Hartlaben had three RBIs. Mason Zuleger scored three runs. Anvelink, after a shaky start by the defense, threw five solid innings and earned the win with relief help from Brooks Hartlaben. Bonduel is now 2-0 overall and 1-0 in CWC East play. Wittenberg-Birnamwood 31, Manawa 2 The Chargers sacred 21 runs in the first inning alone as they went on to crush Manawa 31-2 in Ashwaubenon. Wittenberg-Birnamwood added another 10 runs in the third inning. Manawa had 11 errors in the game. Pulaski 24, Sheboygan South 3 The Red Raiders improved to 6-1 with a 24-3 thumping of Sheboygan South. Florence 11, Gillett/Suring 1 Gillett/Suring lost 11-1 to Florence at the Gillett Triangular. Amherst 12, Menominee Nation 0 Amherst shut out Menominee Nation 12-0 in a game at Ashwaubenon. April 11 Oconto Falls 11, Crandon 1 Carter Heroux, Jack Adler and Wyatt Laughrin combined for eight hits and six RBIs in Oconto Falls’ 11-1 win over Crandon. Heroux hit 3-for-3 with a double, there runs scored and two RBIs. Adler was also 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Laughrin hit 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, two runs scored and two RBIs. Adler was also the winning pitcher. In three innings, he gave up one hit, walked three and struck out five. Shawano 15, Xavier 10 The bats were alive in Appleton as Shawano defeated Xavier 15-10 in a Bay Conference game. Tigerton 18, Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy 7 Tigerton is 3-0 this year with an 18-7 nonconference win over Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy. April 10 Gillett/Suring 10, Wausaukee 5 Gillett/Suring won its first game of the season, a 10-5 Marinette & Oconto Conference victory of Wausaukee.
