Officials with the Central Wisconsin Conference have announced the names of athletes named to the all-conference football teams.
Six Wittenberg-Birnamwood players were honored on offense, and eight were honored on defense.
Named to the first team offense was junior Eddie Nowinsky as offensive lineman.
Second team offense included junior Henry Egging as offensive lineman, junior Bryson Schmid as quarterback, senior Boone Schairer as running back and senior Jett Rogowski as wide receiver.
Junior George Seegmiller was named to the honorable mention list as offensive lineman.
Schairer was named co-defensive player of the year.
First team defense included Rogowski as defensive back, Nowinsky as defensive lineman and Schairer as linebacker.
On the second team were Schmid as defensive back, sophomore Slade Wierzba as defensive lineman and junior Kaden Yaeger as linebacker.
Honorable mention status was earned by junior Carson Meverden as defensive lineman and senior Michael Gunter as linebacker.
The CWC 8-man all-conference teams also included several local athletes.
Named to the second team offense were Marion/Tigerton junior Nolan Wisnefske as offensive lineman, senior Joey Zimdars as quarterback and sophomore Braylon Mielke as running back.
Marion/Tigerton senior Gavin Laatsch was named to the honorable mention team as offensive lineman. Menominee Nation senior Rayshawan Madoah was honored as offensive lineman, and senior Mike Selgado was recognized as quarterback.
All-conference players on the defensive side were Marion/Tigerton senior Logan Zietlow as defensive back, Marion/Tigerton junior Sam Anheuser as linebacker and Menominee Nation senior as defensive lineman.
With honorable mention honors were Marion/Tigerton junior Nick Hannig as defensive lineman, Zimdars as linebacker and Menominee Nation senior Mitchell Waukau as defensive lineman.
