The Salvation Army of Shawano County is in need of volunteers to ring bells during the Red Kettle Campaign, which runs from Nov. 15 through Christmas Eve.
Bell ringers are needed at Charlie’s County Market, Qualheim’s True Value, The Mill in Bonduel and Walmart. Ringing takes place on Fridays and Saturdays during the season.
All donations made in Shawano County stay in the area to help families in need with financial assistance such as rent, utility bills, transportation needs, medical bills and other needs. Individuals meet with a representative of Salvation Army to discuss their options.
Anyone interested in ringing bells can sign up through the Shawano County Service Unit Calendar at www.registertoring.com. Any person of any age can help ring bells.
