The Friends of Lakes Country Public Library is hosting a book sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 30 and 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 31 at the library, 15235 State Highway 32, Lakewood.
A large selection of paperback and hardcover fiction and non-fiction books will be on sale for $1 or $2. Bags of books are available for $10 on Friday and $5 on Saturday.
A number of DVDs, puzzles, audio books, bookbags and T-shirts are also expected to be on sale. Proceeds from this sale will support fall programming for adults and children. Shoppers can also get a look at the library’s new addition.
